Taio Cruz, born on 23 April 1983, is a British singer, songwriter and music producer. He started to write songs for a lot of artists like Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, Cheryl Cole, Thinchy Stryder, Usher, Leona Lewis, Sugarbabes, Ke$ha, Kylie Minogue, McFly or Alexandra Burke.He also writes and produces all his own work including his hit number 1 Break Your Heart.

In 2008 he released his first debut album, "Departure". Written, arranged and produced himself, it achieved initial success in the UK and earned him a MOBO Award nomination.
