Usher Raymond IV is born on 14 October, 1978 in Dallas, Texas, United States and he is known as "King of R&B". He is an singer, songwriter, music executive, actor, record producer, choreographer, dancer, composer, model, businessman, designer and philanthropy. Usher sings pop and R&B soul. He started his career in 1990, when he joined a R&B local quintet, named " the NuBeginnings".

At the age 13, he competed on Star Search. There, "LaFace Records" arranged an audition for Usher at L.A. Reid and Reid signed Usher an contract with the record company.
